The Office

Geoff Knight is our General Manager. Geoff has a long history in the club game, and is always open to a new idea or two. Come in through the front doors and Geoff can be found in the office or in the club. A great addition, and someone who will steer the club down the right path.

Green Keepers

GEOFF
Geoff Holt is the Head Greenkeeper at the Country Club. To have himself and 2 workers the place is a credit to his skills. Geoff also is very grateful to a number of volunteers who assist in the day to day operation of the Cootamundra Country Club.

WAYNE
Wayne one of our green staff team who prides himself to his dedication to making our fairways and greens second to none. Over 20 years experience on the Cootamundra Country Club greens and faiways. Catch up with Bozo after work, if he has the time, he can share a story or two, we cant gaurantee the validity of the story, but you will come away with two things, meeting a down to earth country bloke and a nickname!!!! Victor,FAC, Plug, Wax, Roaring Chicken, Billy, Drooper....to name a few can attest to his quick wit!

JARRED
Jarred is the current apprentice and is this year (2010) starting his third year. He is looking forward to a long career in green-keeping and is very happy working at the Country Club.

Graeme & Assistant Manager Phoebe

At the Cootamundra Country Club, we are very lucky to have the services of Graeme. Graeme is recognized as one of the best amateur players in the country. He has represented his state of NSW in various teams events and has a few state titles to his name. He is always up for a laugh or a good story, and 9 times out of 10 a game of golf as well. Graeme can arrange tuition at his range, or playing lessons at the course.

RON
Ron has been our Bar Manager for 6 years and can be seen on his days off on the golf course or playing a round of lawn bowls. Join him on Thursday night for one of our popular meat raffles and Rons Lucky draw.

ELLY
Fun loving and always on hand to give you her racing tips. Elly has worked here for 5 years and is here most week days to serve your drinks.
